Dugan
Braisher began pushing dirt on the banks of irrigation
ditches when he was 4 years old (1943) and he hasn't stopped
yet. He's built road, logged and land cleared in nearly
every accessible valley from Revelstoke to Canal Flats. Road
construction has ranged from building walking trails to
Trans Canada upgrades. Tree harvesting contracts in the last
few years have mostly been Pine Beetle and Armarilla root
rot treatments, but the equipment is also used for
right-of-way logging while road constructing and land
clearing. He prepares building sites, works up pasture land
and hay fields and even does landscaping. (See
